yes. I have pus cells or white blood cells in urine from last 40-45 days. I also have lot of weakness in my body. Do you think I have weakness in my body due to pus cells in urine or is it something else? Also, what test can be done to find out kidney infection?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The presence of pus cells in urine can be related to a urinary tract infection.

The infection can give weakness in the body.

So, I suggest treating the infection with antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin.

I also recommend using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen twice a day.

I recommend drinking liquids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
