What Causes Weight Gain Despite Exercising?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right noiw ? Please type your query here...hello I've gained 70-80 pounds in the past 5 months and I'm scared I've never weighed so much.I've also been working out 4-5 days per week in the past month and I'm still gaining weight. Is there something wrong with me??

Hello! Do you have any other symptoms. Have you changed your way of eating. You can do a thyroid test: TSH(thyroid stimulating hormone) and fT4( free T4), because hypothyroidism makes your metabolism slow, and as a consequence you gain weight. Try to eat a high protein diet with cheese, egg, cottage cheese, milk chicken, fish and less carbohydrates such as bread, rice, cookies, spaghetti, desserts.
