Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am obese and find the weight around upper abdomen, diaphram area. I run out of breath but feel a heaviness in the diaphram area. I have just lost 24 and thought it would help a bit as I venture on my weight loss journey but there hasn t been any change. I haven t been to the doctor about this. I just had my physical and blood work is excellent, pap and mammogram perfect. Just this heaviness in this area. Assume it is weight related but will go back to doctor on the 20th.
Hello, Abdominal obesity has to do with both exercise and the amount of carbohydrates in the diet. Doing 30 minutes of aerobic exercise like walking daily could help. Also limiting your carbohydrate intake to no more than 40-60 grams a day could be helpful. Good luck. If the heaviness persists even when you are losing weight then see your doctor again Regards
