What Causes Weight Gain, Stress And Anxiety Post Hysterectomy?
Hello my name is Kim. I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago. This past year I have experienced weight gain, stress, moodiness, anxiety, sleepiness.etc. I just thought I was going through some depression. Now that I think about it I am wondering if it may be I have experiencing this because of the hysterecomy. It s driving me crazy and I need answers. Please help!
I think this is signs of menopause. Since, you had a hysterectomy, you may also have done also ovarectomy if it was a total hysterectomy.
The absence of ovaries puts you in a medical induced menopause.
The lack of estrogen produced by the ovaries is causing these symptoms. You can use phytoestrogenes found in food like soya beans to increase estrogen levels in the body. Also a Brufen is an amino acid that improves hot flashes and menopause symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
