What Causes Weight Gain While On Oral Contraception For PCOS?

I am suffering from PCOS from 2007, I was given oral contraception to solve the issue of cysts but started gaining weight. From a 56kgs I have gone to 94kgs in this time. I have met several Gynacs and endocrinologists but no-one has given a proper solution to my issue. I am following a diet and moderate exersice. Can you please help? What medication do I need to take and who can advise me best.

Hi,

1) Weight gain is caused by the hormones present in these pills.
2) If you don't wish to gain weight due to pills, go for different mode of contraception like IUDs.
