What Causes White Dandruff Patches On Scalp?

Hi, I am facing white dandruff patches stick to my scalp....The more I shampoo, the more dry it gets and if I scratch it, it results in loss of hair... I just started using Q-sera hair serum, I am not sure if this would help. Please advise. i am very tensed and irritated!!! :(

Thank you for query.it is not clear about the age,sex ,duration of problem, exact morphology of problem, other symptoms etc you are facing.IF only dandruff you can use antifungal shampoos with ketoconazole.use soft water for hairwash.it be simply due to dandruff or due to other conditions like psoriasis if excess flakes.Do not wash hair daily weekly twice or thrice would do. If does not subside please consult dermatologist for examination and diagnosis.
