What Causes White Flecks In Stools?
I just got home from Guatemala where 1/2 of our group got the amoeba parasite. I did not think I had it so was not tested but now I have been so very tired - sleeping 12 hours a night and a nap plus now i have had some white spots in my poop. No diarrhea but I had been constipated the whole time I was there. Also, if important, we worked in the gardens and dirt since it was a mission trip and on the last day, I ate food that I'm not sure was prepared safely. Should I go to the Dr. with a stool sample. My husband is on Metronidazol for his amoebas.

Your symptoms seem to be related to Parasites.
Some advice that I can give to you is:
-Do a stool test to confirm need cause.
-Do a complete blood test.
If the diagnosis is confirmed, then the treatment consists of Metronidazole drug.
