What Causes White Lumps And Swelling At The Back Of Throat?

2 mths ago i discovered whit lumps and swelling at the back of my throat. The Dr gave me a rinse to use. The white lump went away but the swelling has remained for 2 months. There is no pain and i feel ok but am concerned that the swelling is still there after several months. What could this be and should i be concerned?

Welcome in HCM.

I have gone through your query regarding white lumps and swelling at the back of throat. You had been given rinse and white lumps went away but the swelling is still persisting and about 2 months had been passed.

Your clinical history favors that there is tonsillar lumps are at the back of throat. you should consult your ENT doctor for examination and to rule out strep infection as it is quite common in throat and is supposed dangerous because of serious cardiac and renal complications.
