Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Within the past two to three days, I ve noticed white specks in my feces. I m not sure what it is or why I found them but after doing research it s obviously not right, I m just debating whether I should wait a few days to see if it goes away naturally or rush to the doctors to try and see what this is exactly. What would you think it may be? I m not experiencing any type of symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, upset stomach or anything. The only pain I feel is my back which I m sure is due to bad posture over time, and besides that an occasional pain in the back lower-left side of me back about a little more than halfway down my back, not on the spine though.

What Causes White Specks In Stools?
Hi, Welcome to health care magic, White specks in stools could be as a result of infection or parasite infestations or candida growth. It needs to be evaluated further to rule out any of the above possibility as you do not have any symptoms of diarrhea, nausea or stomach pain. I think you should undergo various tests like routine blood count,ESR, stool for routine micro with ova/cyst. Here, there is no need to take any treatment right now before arrival of any diagnosis. Consult your GP with all the reports I have mentioned and take advice accordingly. Regards,
