First of all, I would like to reassure you that there is no need to worry about the three hyperintense (bright) lesions on the MRI brain. In that regard, I agree with your
neurologist.
These bright spots are non specific and can occur in a variety of conditions, ranging from
migraine to
ischemia and
demyelination.
At your age, the most common underlying cause could be
high Blood pressure.
Since about three years have passed, you may repeat the MRI brain to look for any disease progression. If there is no increase in the number of lesions (spots), then, there is no reason to worry.
However, if there has been a progression, then, you would require evaluation to find out the underlying cause.
