What Causes White Thick Discharge?

Hello, I ve had reoccurring white cottage cheese-like discharge in the course of the past two months, with no odor, but a sour taste. I tried antifungal suppositories three times, which eliminated the problem. However, I now present with white thick discharge that no longer looks like cottage cheese. The sour taste is still present. After using the antifungal treatment, the symptoms are still present. Thanks in advance.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Consult a gynecologist and get a vaginal swab done.

The symptoms are more likely suggestive of infective causes like a yeast infection.

As of now, you can use Clotrimazole lotion to cleanse your genitals.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
