What Causes White Vaginal Discharge After IVF Transfer?
Hi I am around 28 hours since I had a four day IVF transfer. I am flying at the moment so not the best of conditions, but I have a bit of thrush and just got off the plane and found I have some white discharge. I am not on pessaries as i know they can do that. Does this sound an issue?
Hello, Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. Some amount of white discharge is not to be worried about so long as it is not associated with spotting/bleeding. The implantation process can lead to some fresh spotting also. Moreover, pregnant state is accompanied with an enhanced vaginal discharge owing to the raised progesterone levels. Please watch for copious discharge, associated symptoms like itching or burning, symptoms of urinary tract infection and pain in the perineum or pelvis. Keep in touch with your health care provider with regular updates. Avoid travel and intercourse. Wish you good health.
