What Causes Whitish Discharge From My Daughter S Eyes?
My daughter is 4.5 years old. A white semi- solid fluid is coming out from her both eyes for last 2 days. We have to keep washing her eyes every 10 minutes for that. She is just suffering from severe cold apart from that she is active. Please let me know whether it is a matter of concern and should we seek a medical help?

Hi,
By what you say this seems to be a simple case of viral conjunctivitis. Just keep cleaning her eyes with clean water as many times as possible. No need for any antibiotic eye drops.
If there is itching you can give him Syrup Benadryl 5ml thrice a day for 3 days.
