What Causes Wrist Joint, Knees, Thumbs And Fingers Pain?

Hi, for two weeks now I have had bad joint pain in both wrists, both knees, and thumbs and fingers on both hands. I'm 33, and was recently diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, primarily in my right foot. The current pain is severe enough to keep me up at night, and is usually worse in the morning. There is no swelling in any of the joints though. I don't have any fever or other symptoms. I am quite tired a lot though, but that could be because I'm not sleeping very well due to the pain. Any ideas?

Hello,

I have studied your case with diligence.

Psoriatic arthritis can lead to joint pain.
Stiffness is common in psoriasis.
Psoriatic arthritis is associated with osteoporosis so dexa scan will also help.

You may consult physiotherapist for further guidance. He may start TENS, or ultrasound which is helpful in your case.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care
