Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I play a lot of golf. My right wrist below my thumb for about 3 inches hurts to do push ups or anything puts compression on it if my palm is down. It hurts a little to touch it. It doesn’t really hurt to execute a golf swing. I just am assuming the contact with the ground is the cause.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is due to minor contusions probably. As of now, take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. You might require an MRI scan to rule out thin hair line fracture which may not be detected in X-ray.
Wishing you good health.
Thanks.
