What Causes Yellow Liquid In Stools?

Sometimes, when I poop, i have a bright yellow liquid that comes out with it. This only happend recently to me the day before and today, but i had drank tea a few hours before i went to bed, both times, although the day before was during the day. I have no pain and brown poop, but have been having alot of gas lately. I take vitamins. I should also be getting my period soon. Can tea or period cause yellow liquid when we poop?

Hello!

Thank you for trusting HCM!

Sometimes people may confuse yellow stools with pale stools. Yellow stools are commonly caused by food container or from yellow pigment. Pale stools seen in irritable and inflammatory bowel diseases. Other causes like gallbladder and liver problems. May be due to food allergy. Avoid tea and see if symptoms persist, please consult your doctor. He will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care
