What Could A Ridge In Toddler S Skull After A Fall Indicate?
My three year old fell down the stairs this morning. He cried. Then he seemed fine all day. His eyes look normal. He is acting normal.he napped and was fine. Now 14 hours later i feel a deep ridge on his skull. It doesn t hurt him to touch it so I don t know if I should be concerned or if it s just his skull still fusing together. he seems fine
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. I understand your concern. First be reassured that your kid is normal. I will suggest you danger signs of head injury - 1. Vomiting continuously 2. Seizures 3. Watery of bloody discharge from ears and nose 4. Unconsciousness 5. Altered sensorium or behavior. If none of them are present, I don't think you should worry about his trivial head injury. But as you say there is a ridge which I am unable to decipher unless I see it, I suggest you see your pediatrician. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health. Dr. Sumanth MBBS., DCH., DNB (Paed).,
