What Could Be Cause Of Pain And Bulge On Skin After A Graft?

Hello doctor , I had a skin graft on my upper right thigh and part of lower right abdomen around 25 years back. I found a bulge on the grafted part. The skin has become loose and soft. It pains while walking, when I sit and when I try to stand up. What could be the exact reason? What should I do?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
This looks to be hernia as per your description of the symptoms and the site.
Get high resolution ultrasonography , clinical examination - if hernia , get this operated .
If not a hernia needs further investigations like biopsy and ll.
