Hello,

You had repeat USG that shows no stones, those stones may have passed out naturally. Even if small stones pass out naturally it can scrape the urinary tract lining, causing burning, urgency, or microscopic blood. Make sure you keep yourself well hydrated. Frequent urination and occasional burning sensation can also be caused due to bladder irritation after passing of the stone, enlarged prostate or UTI.

Frequent urination without infection can also be from high sugar levels. Check, fasting glucose, HbA1c. Get urinalysis routine and culture sensitivity to detect UTI or any other infection. Taking urinary alkalinizers (like potassium citrate or alkacitron (2 tsp with water thrice daily) can reduce burning sensation. Get clinically examined by a urologist if symptoms persist to rule out lingering stone fragments, bladder inflammation, or prostate issues.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
