Hi, I was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor Grade 3 anaplastic oligodendroglioma in 2009. Tumor resection done and chemo for 1 year. I am on a few meds levothyroxine 0.100mg, levetiracetam 1000mgvenlafaxine er 150mg, amitriptyline 100mg,zanax 0.5 mg and fenofibrate 160mg. Each pill is taken 1 time daily. I am 5 4 and weigh 184 pounds. I have to work out 1 hour a day 7 days a week to lose any weight. I stopped drinking alcohol and all sodas and did not lose any weight. Do you have any suggestions for me to lose weight?

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this difficulty dropping your weights. The truth is that weight loss is a process and not a one time solution. Maintaining the lifestyle changes, continued regular exercise and a healthy diet would yield great results in the long run. Do not relent your efforts and do not be too ambitious in the short run. Consistence and persistence would be very helpful.

I hope this helps. I wish you well and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
