General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, the brown jelly is suggestive of intestinal infection in most of the cases.this may be mucus admixed with blood. A course of antibiotics and Metrogyl may solve your problem in about 3 to 7 days. If you do not get relief , it is always advisable to visit the General or Gastroeterology Surgeon who would examine your abdomen and may ask you for endoscopy examination to rule out any hidden problems... And it is always better to take more precautions.
