What Could Be The Cause For Blood Stains In Urine And Burning Sensation During Urination?

Hello! For 24 hours I’ve been experiencing some symptoms. Idk if it’s pregnancy or a UTI. Once I’m almost done urinating I feel a very discomforting amount of pressure! Also, when I wipe, it’s a very light amount of blood on the tissue! What makes me think it’s a uti is the discomforting urination, but what makes me think it’s pregnancy is the spotting. My period isn’t due until Nov. 7th. Which do you think it is ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

In my opinion the symptoms are related to a urinary tract infection.

I suggest to do a urine test and a pregnancy test for further evaluation.

Meanwhile, I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen for the discomfort while urinating.

I also recommend to drink a lot of liquids.

Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
