What Could Be The Cause For Spotting?

thick lining in utrus 1.7 cm .. had a d and c 9 months ago it was as lining was 6 cm .
[in total had about 4 d and c since i was 40 years old }..tests came back as polips and lining was fine ..
Now spotting again had a scan this week and it looks like its back again. I am 56 years of age no period for the last 7 Years or so.
not or did not take any hormone replacement.
on the whole fairly healthy but over weight .

Welcome to HCM.
Uterine lining of 1.7cm in postmenopausal woman at 56 years age should arouse suspicion of endometrial pathology (especially malignancy). You need biopsy of endometrium again to rule out the same.
