What Could Be The Cause Of Excessive Thirst And Severe Vomiting In A Child?

My daughter has been spewing all night. She is not hungry but veeeeery thirsty! She drinks so much that she vomits it all up again less than 15 minutes later. She does not have diarrhea. What should I do? I've given her pamol and that seems to help for a little while.
