What Could Be The Cause Of Ringing And Pulsating In Ear After Wax Removal?

I am 53, 5'11". Had ear wax removal in both ears. Post-removal, left ear started ringing/pulsating. Has continued for the last five days.I went to another ENT and he said the ears are structurally sound. He said there was a tiny red mark on the left ear drum that was probably a result of irritation. He gave me a hearing test. Thank G-d, it is normal. The doctor says the ringing/pulsating is probably from ear drum spasms and should subside within two weeks. He recommended taking a teaspoon of antihistamine at night before going to sleep. The ringing/pulsing is really annoying with no respit yet. (I just saw the doctor yesterday.)
