What Could Be The Cause Of Soreness And Tenderness On Tonsils In The Absence Of Sore Throat?

Hi! Two days ago I started feeling sore and tender on my gums, on my top jaw, at the very back above my wisdom tooth. Today it burns like it is an open sore, sort of raw feeling. Today I also noticed the top part of my right tonsil, like just under the hinge of my jaw bone, feels sore when I touch it. I cannot see any sores in my mouth, I don't think my tonsils are swollen, I don't have a fever or a sore throat. I have no idea if the two mystery sympyoms are related, but it is odd to me that they are both on the same side.

Hello there!
Thank you for asking. Had you mentioned your age it would have been easy , if it is near 20-25 i believe it is associated with wisdom teeth eruption. these swollen gums with associated inflammed tonsils . But If you dont have any fever or difficulty swallowing or soreness in throat, i believe simple aspirin gargles and garlic water mouth rinses would be all you need .
Cheers
