What Could Be The Dime Sized Bump On The Back Of Neck Which Is Painful And Cause Of Stiff Neck?

I have a dime sized bum on the back of my neck right above my hairline and another one a little above and to the side of it. They are both pretty red and extremely painful. My neck feels very stiff and it is painful to move my head in any direction. what could this be?
