What Could Be The Hard Pea Sized Lump On Left Side Of Jaw Bone?

I have a hard pea sized lump on the left side of my jaw bone. The lump is on the outside and located at the area where the jaw hinges upward. I have just noticed the lump (was not there previously as far as I know) and it is not painful and almost feels like part of the bone itself. What could this be?

HELLO,

Lump on the left side of jaw bone may be due to-trauma or injury to jaw bone or due to decayed or periodontal infected tooth within the oral cavity.

I would advice you to get a thorough clinical as well as x-ray evaluation done.

Complete course of antibiotics-analgesics has to be administered.

Pus has to be drained and curetted completely.

Maintain oral hygiene well.

If there is fracture of jaw bone or dislocation, please do consult with your oral surgeon.
Hope this helps.
