What Could Be The Lump On Left Side Of Neck Of A 6 Year Old?

Hi I am very concerned with regards to a lump appearing on my 6 year old sons left side of his neck, its not very big quite small but noticeable anyway. It hurts him to move his neck and is finding it very stiff to move. What could this be?? and what can I give him to reduce the pain for him??

I have gone through your query.It can be a cervical lymph node.Better to have a physical examination with your doctor.It might disappear its own also.Some cases antibiotics are prescribed.In a long standing one excision and histological examination is carried out.
