What Could Be The Movable, Hard Lump Under Jaw Bone?

I m 19 and I found a hard small lump under my jawbone about a month ago. It has not increased in size and it s not painful. It moves. I have no idea what it is. I went to my school health center and got a CAT scan. They re still not sure what it is. Cancer does not run in my family.

hi
thanks for writting to HCM
few possibilies are enlarged lymph nodes because of carries tooth/any infection of oral cavity/lymphoma.
the best way to confirm, if CAT scan is negative is to do Excisional Biopsy/FNAC of lump and send to the lab(HPE).
take care and wishing you good Health
