What Could Be The Reason I Have Pain In Thighs?

hi, my son 7 years old , have pain in his thighs for last few days , he cries when he sit on the commod or hard chair . but he run around and do all activites whith out any pain . took an Xray and didint notice any thing. blood is given for rouitine investgation. what coud be the reason?

Hello

I have studied your case

All your symptoms systemic infection.

You may need to investigate in form of complete blood count, ESR, CRP, tuberculin test, and Fine needle aspiration cytology or open biopsy.

Perthes disease can lead to thigh pain in children.
MRI hip may help in diagnosing early disease.
There can be weakness due to iron and vit D deficiency.

So I will advise you to consult a specialist and do required investigation.
