What Could Be The Reason For An Increase In The Epithelial Cells??
hello doctor..my 27yr old wife has recently developed an increase in the frequency of urination ..we have been trying to conceive and had unprotected sex during the ovulation period.. we did some routine urine test to check the cause for increase in urination,suspection urinary infection.. but the result shows absence of bacteria .. the epithelial cells count is 8-10/hpf .. what could be the reason for this increase in epithelial cells??

* Epithelial cells in absence of urinary infection, indicate possible low-grade cystitis without UTI.
* Plenty of liquids, urinary alkaliser and avoidance of unprotected sex for some period of time will revert the issue back to normal in a faster way.
