What Could Be The Reason For Cloudy Urine Sometimes?
my mom has uti for for 1 week then she took antibiotic for 7days and it was gone, then after how many days it came back again, had her urinalysis checked again it was too numerous to count once again, now she's taking uritracin 400 mg as per the doctor it should be for two weeks, but its 6th days now her urine is sometimes clear and sometimes cloudy early in the morning when she pee, why is that so? is there something wrong inside?
Hello Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your mother has repeated episodes of UTI and taking antibiotics since 2 weeks . The reason for not getting cured even with antibiotics may be that the organisms may be resistant to antibiotic that she is taking.
Get her r routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
She needs to take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexine along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water. To keep her urine dilute This will help to control dysuria. Dr.Patil.
