What Could Be The Reason For Diarrhea And Stomach Cramps That Is Going On For Weeks ?

Hello! I went to egypt for a week (that was my first mistake) and came home two and a half weeks ago. While I was there i had bad diarrhea and stomach cramps for most of the stay. Since being home I haven't been right, it's not properly diarrhea but I get stomach cramps and feel the need to get to the loo FAST. It's just once a day, but I feel that this shpuld have cleared up by now and I was wondering whether to go to my GP or not. I did have an undercooked egg while i was away, if this gives you any clue?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
PS I am 31, female, 5'4", not overweight and generally healthy.
