What Could Be The Reason For Having A Sharp Pull In My Lower Back And Pain In My Testicles?

I was running, I then felt a sharp pull in my lower back, soon my left testicle started to hurt. The pain wasn t unbearable, like a torsion, but it was uncomfortable, it s the next day...The pain has subsided a lot when I walk now, I have an ache in my lower back, and when I lift my leg up my testicle has a numb ache.

Hi,

The sharp pull pain in your lower back and substiquent left testicle ache might be associated with muscle strain (pull) pain while running. Perhaps you have been over-exercised (running too much) or your leg went wrong while you were running.

I suggest to apply cold compresses to the pain area for this day (as you mention it is the next day today). By tomorrow, and within a couple of days, I suggest to apply warm compresses to the affected area.

If the pain won't improve, apply analgesic cream locally and take oral pain-killer.

If you are also having testicle pain and penile discharge, should consult your doctor for further evaluation.

All the best!
