What Could Be The Reason For Having An Enlarged Lymph Node In My Neck?

Hi in have a enlarge lymp node in my neck it's hard dont move and it's swallon iv had blood test been on two lots of tablets even that there was know infection now need a biopsy , it's been 3weeks now got bigger just feel weak but apart from that fine

Hi, thanks for your query.
Enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, hard, does not move, present since 3 weeks, not responding to antibiotics, increasing in size suggests probably can be tuberculosis of lymph node.
Second probable cause, can be other granulomatous condition, lymphoma.
It can be confirmed by biopsy and blood test, ESR, mantoux test. Chest x ray.
If I were your treating doctor, I woukd have recommended for biopsy, , seeing the report, I would have treated you.
Since you havd finished a course of antibiotics, I would not recommend any other medications until biopsy is done.
