What Could Be The Reason For Having Headache, Fever, Dry Cough And Nasal Congestion?

6.5 yr old male, headache, fever (101), dry cough, nasal congestion (intermittent). NO aches. NO chills (but does get cold from time to time, just not to the point of chills). every time he eats he says it "tastes funny" but can't describe further. Flu, cold, or something else? Not truly lethargic, but lower energy than normal, as you'd expect when sick.

Hai... By what you say the kids is just going through a viral illness which usually lasts from 3-7 days. If kid is well when no fever you shouldn't worry. Symptomatic treatment with paracetamol in the appropriate dose if fever is > 100 will do the trick. Cold can be treated with antiallergics for symptomatic relief. Absolutely no need for antibiotics. Happy to help anytime. If you are happy with my reply, kindly rate it.
