What Could Be The Reason For Having Itching On The Knuckle Of My Finger?

I was out to eat with a group of family and friends when I noticed the knuckle of my pointer finger itching. I saw that the vein was inflammed. I had a feeling like it popped, and the itching stopped and a bruise appeared. It was not painful. What could be the cause of this?

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might be suffering from allergic contact dermatitis.
It is an allergic reaction of skin to a particular product to which you came in contact with.
Please apply a steroid cream like fluticasone.
Also take an antihistamine tablet.
This will give you relief.
A photograph would have helped me in giving a closer diagnosis.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
