What Could Be The Reason For Having Pain In Toes For Years?

I have had a painful issue with my toes for years. When I stretch, it feels as if my toes dislocate. The pain is excruciating, I have to put my feet flat on a floor to get them back in place. There is no redness or swelling afterwords. It happens several times a day to both feet. What could this be?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in the toes could be due to arthritis in the toe joint or gout. Hammer toe is also likely. This needs proper examination for treatment.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
