What Could Be The Reason For Intermittent Oozing Of Blood In Belly Button When Cleaned With A Qtip?
When my husband puts a q-tip in his belly button to clean it and all that comes out is blood even though he always cleans his belly button. He went to the er and they said it was a infection and gave him ciprofloxacin and it went away well he was on them now it is back. What is wrong?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, there might be some boil, in the belly button, and it burst with the q-tip,or it might be the result of the prick of the tip. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. The organism of the infection might be resistant,so you may have to get the culture and sensitivity of the discharge and get treatment accordingly. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
