What Could Be The Reason For Orange Colored Urine And No Urge For Urination?

My son is 12 and Is urinating orange urine (just started), however, he doesnt have the urge to urinate he makes him self... even after drinking 3 bottles of water... his step mother took a strip uranaylis today and said his protein levels were at 30. One other thing hes having trouble telling the difference between colors right now and has never been diagnosed with color blindness... He has had surgery to his left eye in 2005 for cataracts (congenital). Not sure if this means anything at all but he had an appendectomy oct, 2011 and was recently diagnose with 10% urethal stenosis. Also, He has been Having frequent headaches that last only a few minutes But cause him to cry from the pain then vanquish as fast as they started.
