Hello, I have a pain under my right rib cage. The pain when sitting is dull but when i stretch or stand up it hurts. It also hurts to touch and when I take a deep breath. The pain has been there for about 2 days. It came on all of a sudden at work, I sit at a desk so I couldn t have pulled something

Hello, Thanks for your query. The symptoms you have described are more likely to be symptoms of muscles strain. Treatment guidelines for a muscle strain or pull is as follows - * Adequate rest for a few days * Ice packing over the affected area once in 2 hours * Once the acute pain subsides, Moist heat application over the affected muscles * Gradual & gentle stretching exercises * analgesic & muscle relaxants as needed
