What Could Be The Reason For Red Bumps Around The Arm Pit ,causing Itchiness And Burning Sensation ?
Hi, Im a 13 year old female and for the past few days or so, Ive noticed red bumps going down my armpit. its more on the side though. And they stop at the side of my breast. My left armpit/side is fine, its just my right one that is filled with red bumps. And I think more have came up. The first time I saw them there was four, now there are 18 and they're all clustered together. Please help. Im in gymnastics and its really embarrassing. Also, I barely have any acne on my face and its not noticeable. The ones down the side of my armpit and my side are big, red and noticeable. They itch/burn and hurt to the touch sometimes. PLEASE HELP!
You seem to be developing lesions of folliculitis. These are basically infective lesions of the hair follicle. Since the lesions are now increasing in number and size, you need to be treated as early and possible for the same. You should keep the affected area clean and dry. Apply a topical antibiotics cream over the affected area twice a day. You might need a course of oral antibiotics as well. Do not apply oil over the lesions.
