What Could Be The Reason For The Severe Cramps And Light Spotting Having Delayed Periods?

my period is late, i had a sever cramping a couple days ago , but now it s better however I m having light spotting since yesterday. I did pregnancy test and it came out negative. I m really confused now:((( I should mention as well that I suffer with PCOS but since my son was born I have a fairly regular cycle. I have never experience spotting before nor before nor after my son was born so this is very strange for me:(

Hello ma'am and welcome.

With a history of PCOS I would recommend a visit to the doctors for an ultrasound examination and a blood investigation to check on your hormone levels.

This would be the best next step. Please be patient and follow your doctors instructions.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
