What Could Be The Reason For The Tongue Swelling Which Is Affecting The Speech And Taking Allergy Pill Has Not Helped?
Hi. My tounge has been a bit swollen the past couple of days, and it s affecting my speech. I have taken an allergy pill for it, and it hasn t gotten worse, but not much better. I ve been taking estrogen with progesteron for a couple of years and wondered if I should perhaps stop? I do not take any other medications other than occasional puff of my inhalers when needed and do rinse after use.
Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum. The reasons for swollen tongue might be the bite by a moving tooth, or a fractured tooth. glossitis, infection in the mouth, etc. I advise you to consult an E.N.T.surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. I advise you to gargle with the salt in luke warm water twice daily. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have a good health. wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
