What Could Be The Reasons For Having Severe Joint Pain, And Weakness In Legs, Arms And Hands?

My husband is having severe joint pain, and weakness in his knees legs hands and arms. Along with severe fatigue. Dr has done a Lyme test for Lyme Disease and already started antibiotics but seems to be growing worse. Have not gotten any test results back yet.
any other ideas of what this could be?

Hi there.

Your husband is suffering from polyarthralgia which could be due to lymes disease or some other primary cause.
If the pain is too severe I would suggest you to give him a short course of steroids like Methylprednisolone or Deflazacort under strict supervision .
This will take care of the acute pain.
Take an anti inflammatory like Naproxen with it as it also has anti arthritic properties.

Kindly get a complete arthritis panel blood test done and start medication according to the results.
