What Could Be The Red Bump With A Scab On Butt In Babies?
My daughter is 3 and she is just now starting to use her potty chair. We change her constantly so the poop and pee doesn t set in her diaper long. She has small baby acne but I think it s from the pee and poop being strong. Anyways she has a huge red bump with a scab on it on her butt. It is very hard and dark red she won t let us touch it. She has had something like the before and I barely squeezed and stuff just came out. It looks the same but it s just worrying me. Should I take her to the ER?

I would recommend you to visit a pediatrician for proper clinical examination of the lesion. Many a times it can rapidly progress to gluteal abscess. So, early definitive treatment is a must. Hopefully this will help you.
