What Could Be The Spots Throughout The Body Of A 6 Year Old?

MY GRAND DAUGHTER IS 6 AND HAS DEVELOPED A FEW SPOTS UNDER HER BUST ON SIDE ONE SPOT ON HER STOMACH AND 3 ON HER SHOULDER OVER A PERIOD OF 3 DAYS. SHE IS NOT AT ALL ILL AND THEY ARE NOT ITCHY. tHEY ARE FLAT AND RED AND SEEM TO BE DYING BACK NOW. WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY ARE?

Hello. Thank you for your question. I am sorry about your granddaughters rash. Sight unseen, it is difficult for me to diagnose. Buy based on your deaciption, it sounds like a mild virus caused it. These viruses are harmless. Once they leave the body, the rash appears. The rash usually disappers within 7-10 days, as aeems to be happening in your granddaughters case. As long as she is otherwise well, I wouldnt be concerned.
