What Could Be The Unbearable Pain In Lower Right Side?

I am 70 years old - female - healthy, and in just the last day I have had some sharp, but not unbearable pain in my lower right side. lasted only a few minutes while at rest. Today, I had it again, less intense, lasted only a minute but was uncomfortable when I pressed on the area. Seems fine now. My question is, I am getting ready to head to the beach on Saturday for a week. I have had none of the other 10 signs and am otherwise feeling fine. Can I wait until I get home to check this out?

Hello,

Most probably it will be a ureteric colic.

As of now, you can take analgesics like Tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a urologist and plan for an ultrasound.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
