What Could Be The Underlying Cause For Numbness, Tingling Sensation And Swelling In The Arms And Legs?
Hi, my son has been going to doctors for 1.5 years and keeps getting bounced around to different specialties. His symptoms are Numbness, tingling and swelling in both hands , pain and fatigue in his arms. sharp elbow pain, burning and soreness in his collarbone. sharp pain under scapula. Originally diagnosed him with carpal tunnel which he had surgery for with no positive results. He was then told cervical radiopaty in C5-C6, from neoroligist but, then orthopedic said no thats not it. He is only 26 and in severe pain daily. He had a motorcycle accident 5 years ago ad broke his back which he recovered fully. Can you give us any direction what to look at? Thoracic outlet syndrome has been suggested. Thank You
The numbness and tingling sensation in arms and legs can be related to low levels of vitamin B12. You need to get your serum levels checked and start with suitable supplements accordingly.
